3 Tips for Keeping Pests Out of Cars & Trucks

3 Tips for Keeping Pests Out of Cars & Trucks

Hello, friends - If you're looking to keep pests and rodents out of your vehicle, you’ve come to the right place. I've learned a few things over the years that seem to do the trick. So, let me share with you 3 simple tips that'll keep those critters far away from your ride:

  1. Keep it clean and tidy: Now, I know life gets busy, and sometimes our vehicles become a bit of a mess. But let me tell you, those crumbs, food wrappers and containers you leave behind are just an open invitation for unwanted guests to come on in. So, make sure you give your car a regular cleaning. Vacuum the floors, wipe down any spills, and keep those seats looking slick. A clean car is a pest-free car!
  2. Close all doors and windows: Those sneaky little critters can find the tiniest of openings to squeeze their way into your vehicle. So make it a habit to keep your doors, windows, and sunroof closed when the car is parked at home(Not sure if you’re alone in your car? Just honk the horn a few times before you begin driving. Any rodents will show themselves and make an escape ASAP)
  3. Protect your wires: Believe it or not, for some rodents your wiring is just as tasty as that snack you left on the dashboard, and that can be a serious problem! Many vehicles are not well-protected on the bottom and may be vulnerable under the hood as well… Luckily, I know just how to help. Start by applying my Rodent Repellent Spray along your car/truck wires, just like this.

Cars – The simplest and best way to keep rodents away is to drive your car often. The engine starting will scare them away, and the movement will give them less time to make themselves at home. Make your primary parking spot a clean, well-maintained garage and save yourself some serious damage.

Trucks – The same applies for protecting your truck. However, I know how hard (and expensive) it can be for some of you drivers to keep moving if you don’t have a load. Sprinkle some of my Rodent Repellent Powder around the vehicle while it’s parked; this forms a rodent-proof perimeter that can save you thousands on repairs. Also be sure to toss one of my Mouse Repellent Pouches into the cab of the truck.
